Very powerful book that proposes that not only do individuals have missions to fulfill, but so do entire families and family lines. Touches on the blessings and also the problems in families that can get in the way of fulfilling their missions (sins like alcoholism, dabbling in the occult, abuse, etc.) and offers prayers for family healing, breaking of curses, and more. Fascinating, faith-filled perspective! Nevertheless, in this book, as in other of his books, the author should talk more about the role of psychology and counseling, in addition to faith, in fostering a life of blessings and healing in today's wounded world, so you'll need to keep looking for a book that does this. It is well known that many holy priests in confession will plainly recommend counseling to people in search of more emotional healing and hope in their lives and Michael Brown does not pay enough attention to this fact. God brought about the field of psychology for many good reasons which are not acknowledged or fully thought-through by the author. Still, except for this way in which this book is wanting, this is a much needed book in today's world full of broken families.Product details

Interesting read, goes into familial curses
I enjoyed reading this book very much. I learned more about my mission in life than I ever knew. Also, finally I understand the back pain that has devastated my family. The prayers in this book are excellent and I will use them to pray for healing, physical and emotional.

I loved this book! It was full of very helpful information. I could not put it down, I recommend this for everyone to read and read again. I am always going back and rereading sections to refresh my memory.
Healing changes occurred within days of praying through family trees of my own family, friends, and even strangers. Using physical/emotional/spiritual symptoms as conduits for prayer is very powerful.
I would recommend this book to all families wanting to pray for their fAmily tree.
I have a geater understanding of the sins carried down through the generations and the prayers at the back of the book are a great a is.
I could hardly put my down! I found myself copying whole paragraphs into a note pad for future reference. As with all his books, Michael H. Brown brings information and enlightenment to facts about the Catholic Faith in a very easy way to read and understand. I found out things I didn't know about my Faith and I am a "cradle Catholic"! This book whetted my appetite for more information about how our past generation's sins can affect our lives. I don't remember hearing anything about this aspect of the Faith.
